A teacher can inspire one, can shape one’s life and can also set one’s goal. Hence it is the duty of everyone to salute his/her teacher for making the life meaningful one. With this purpose Hongirana organized Teachers Day ‘Gurunamana’ on 3rd of this month.
For this programme a well experienced teacher in BASE, Mrs. Chitkala Venkatachala was the Chief Guest. In her speech she told that, “Though the teachers give life values, being students, you cannot understand their importance but you will think of them in the next phases of your life”. Her words really made the students to pray for the blessings of their teachers.
Another specially invited guest of the function Mr. Narayanamurthy, a retired Head Master from Sagar who was felicitated in the same occasion for his life time contribution to the field of education spoke about student-teacher relationship. According to him he could see the God in the good deeds of his students.
