An overnight adventure camp to 2nd pu

What could be better than an adventure camp to the college students which comprised games, swimming, trekking, rappelling and fire camp? Being with nature itself is one of the Life’s unforgettable experience. The trip provided nature study, exciting adventure and experience to develop love for nature. An outdoor adventure camp with excellent leaders and peers, can be most defining and positive experience in student’s life.
An overnight adventure camp was organised to 2nd pu students on 9th and 10th January, 2017 amidst the beautiful nature at Ambaragodlu, Sharavathi back water.
The camp at Nandigodu, on our way to Ambargodlu commenced with the students being briefed about the precautions to be taken during the camp and then they were explored to various activities like rope ladder climbing, walking on the rope and rappelling. The amount of energy and enthusiasm exhibited by the students was enthralling. The students energetically completed all the tasks.
After the lunch students were taken to the starting point of the water expedition from where students swam across the back water using life jackets, to the campsite.
In the night, everyone relaxed around the campfire with mouth watering ‘Rotti and Yennagai Palya.’ After the tasty dinner students went on a trek under the full moon. Later everybody got into the cosy tent.
Next day began with warm up games and after a sumptuous breakfast the students started their journey back.
Throughout the trip the students were full of zeal and actively indulged in various activities and wished the camp didn’t end.
Finally the students carried wonderful memories to cherish for throughout their life.
