“Freedom in the mind, Faith in the words…… Pride in our soul….. Let’s salute the nation.”
With this thought in mind, Quit India Movement was observed by the middle section on 9th of August 2016 with great zeal and zest. The Chief Guest Ms. Sushmitha Saptharshi, honourable Principal Mrs.Shobha Ravindra and Headmistress of higher primary Mrs.Rajashree were the dignitaries on the dais.
The programme started at 9.45am with a patriotic song by class VII students. Mr.Girish, the Kannada teacher shared his views on the significance of the day and highlighted the importance of the day. The presentation of a patriotic dance and a skit by students kindled the flame of patriotism in everyone.
Later our chief guest Ms.Sushmitha Saptharshi spoke about Quit India Movement. She called the youth the wealth and the hope of the nation who will lead the country and make it a great nation of the world. The programme was concluded by the presidential remarks by the headmistress Mrs.Rajashree who advised the students to use the freedom in true spirit.
The idea of this program was to kindle the spirit of patriotism among children and to make them aware about the sacrifices made by freedom fighters.
